iShop4One.co.uk is an online petition that we would like you to sign, to encourage the big supermarkets that penalise single people shopping for themselves, or the elderly with smaller appetites, with BOGOF (buy one get one free) offers, as well as buy 3 get one free.

The number of British people living alone has trebled in the past 30 years to almost 10 MILLION and we are still treated with something close to contempt by the big supermarkets.

We would like the privilege of buying one product at the reduced price. We do not want to contribute to the 'throw away' mentality by buying more produce than we can reasonably eat, yet feel aggrieved by having to pay full price for individual purchases.

By signing this petition, you will help us to convey our message to the supermarkets, to encourage them to deliver a customer service and save excessive waste.
While they support the 'Mother and Baby' concept, surely the single shopper has equal priority?
